Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Ruth Bader Ginsburg has a huge legacy, her fights for gender equality have helped to give women rights that they did not have before.  As the second woman to ever be part of the Supreme Court, she is a role model to many women.  She broke glass ceilings and has paved the way for future generations of girls.

The nickname “The Notorious RBG” was a play on the name of the rapper The Notorious B.I.G., and was ironic because she was so small and him so big.  Yet her presence and impact in the world was and continues to be huge.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg said “fight for the things you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you.”  Her legacy continues with many women continuing to fight for what she stood for.
